Genres!!!

 So in the past three weeks we have been learning about genres. Did you know that there are 76 different types of genres!!!! The top 9 overall are literary fiction, mystery/thriller/horror, historical, romance, western, young adult, fantasy, science fiction, picture book. We are learning about poetry, biography, autobiography, informational, science fiction, mystery, realistic fiction, fantasy, and historical fiction. Genre means a specific category of types of book that you are reading.
